These techniques have been used for a wide variety of individual investigations and applications. For my research project work in Burgundy these have included:
  • General environmental analysis
  • Archaeological predictive modeling 
  • Cost surface analysis and modeling of ancient roadways
  • spatial analysis of landscape features, including the distribution of archaeological sites and roadways
  • Historical modeling of forests, vines, water ponds and mills and other features by analyzing features digitized from historical maps of the region
