I have conducted interdisciplinary research for nearly 40 years in this beautiful and historic area, and want to share some of what I have learned and some of the techniques that I have used (and developed) with you.
My work has been conducted independently, with students, and as a part of teams of scholars from a variety of backgrounds, all interested in the changing patterns of continuity and change in this region, covering over 2,000 years of history.
